A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Biography
I was born in Lisbon in 1986, and started photography as a hobby, that end up growing up so much I had to follow it as a career. I started to participate in some street photography workshops with great names like the photographer Matt Stuart (London, 2019) and later with photographer Stuart Paton (Lisbon, 2019).
In 2020, with the intention of starting to develop my documentary projects, I participated in the Narrativa Masterclass, with Mário Cruz, where I developed the project “Mouraria”.
In 2021 I participated in the Documentary Photography Course, taught by António Pedrosa.
Between 2021 and 2022, I attended the Master in artistic photography, at IPCI, in Lisbon
I'm also one of the founding members of Narrativa, a cultural association invested in sharing photography with everyone, through exhibitions, a library, workshops, and several other initiatives.
ABOUT MY PROCESS
My Work
2021 - won the Master scholarship in artistic photography, at IPCI, in Lisbon
2022 - Present at Vila Franca de Xira Photography Biennial, with "Delta"
2023 - Distinguished at "Novos Talentos Fnac" in the photography category
2023 - Invited artist for the project "OMNIS", about the world youth day, in Lisbon
Lectured several workshops in different areas of photography since 2018
